Wink, Meet, Delete – An Insider’s Guide to Internet Dating

Scottish film-maker Sue Bourne meets all kinds of people from the UK who regularly use online dating sites and asks them what impact it has had on their lives for good or bad. It will show on BBC 2 Scotland at 9.00pm on the 24th of August and you can hear an interview with the film-maker on the BBC iPlayer (the interview starts 15:30 minutes into the show). It sounds really interesting so we’re looking forward to watching it, let us know what you think if you saw it too.

If you’ve just watched the programme and don’t know where to start and which site to choose with so many out there then check out our Top 10 Online Dating Sites Reviews for our guide to the most popular UK dating sites.

Update: Was a very interesting, funny and thought provoking documentary that reflected many of the pitfalls, quirks, successes, thrills and disappointments of the online dating world. We thought it gave a balanced picture overall and served some important reminders for people to wise up to when using a dating site. Check out or Dating Survival Guide for some more tips on safe internet dating.

For anyone based in the UK that missed it you can watch it again on the BBC iPlayer for the next 6 days: Watch Wink Meet Delete on the BBC iPlayer
